Mid-western which is mainstream. I hate Southern Accents and NY accents aren't much better. Personally, I feel that people who talk with those accents come across as unpolished and uneducated.

I love to listen to people from Georgia... it's like music from a favorite melody. I think it's because it reminds me of summers spent with my favorite great aunt who was from Georgia. It's different than any other "southern" accent. Wanna see for yourself? Tune in to Paula Deen's show on Food Network or her sons' new show...

I speak southern and love it. The people of Charleston, SC sound so wonderful and it is different than anyother accent.
