I read recently that you can turbocharge any 4 stroke motorcycle, i was just wondering would it be possible to turbocharge a 4 stroke 250cc sportsbike, like a Honda CBR250 or a Kawasaki ZXR250, this would include strengthening the engine and gearbox etc, not looking for massive power gains.

Buy a ZX 14....... It'll go faster, in 1st, than any turbo 250 will in top..... But seriously ??? Why would you bother ???? Just wait 'till you've finished your permit time ( if they have one, where ever you're at), and get a bigger bike. 250's are to LEARN on, not to trick up. The cost would scare you to death, anyway. If you're looking for a power increase, just try taking the baffles out of the air box, and maybe sticking an after market exhaust on, to let it breathe a little better. Other than that, there's no economically good way to get anything out of them. Are you hitting the red line ????? If not, you don't need to get any more power, anyway. Be content, and hone your skills. That'll make you twice as fast, as by throwing cash at it.

Just get a bike with a bigger engine. Then if you still want more power then add a turbocharger, but if ya just want a small increase in power try using a twin carb. intake...
