He won't accept it though and keeps asking everyday. Should I break up with him?

I admire you for sticking to your guns and saying no. You should not let him pressure you into something you don't want, or don't feel comfortable with, or just aren't ready for. Your attitude is perfectly reasonable.

Tell him that if he cares for you and respects you that he'll wait. If he can't do that, then cut him loose. There just can't be a timetable for this sort of thing, so don't let him try to create one.

For of all sad words of tongue or pen,
The saddest are these: “It might have been!”

- John Greenleaf Whittier. (1807–1892)

This is so true. I know it is hard to know who should be "the one" (or even "the next"), but remember that once that has been given it cannot ever be recovered. Some day you will find someone you want to share that with for the rest of your life, and do you want them to just be "the next" or one more in a long line?

Hold on to what you believe in. Don't give in. If he wants to break up with you over sex, what other things will he try to force you to do down the road? What other parts of your personal belief system will he ask you to throw away for a fleeting moment in time?

Remember, the thing that separates us from the animals is that we can CHOOSE when we procreate. We are not just driven by lust and desire, but we can understand the emotional and moral implications and make choices that, though they may be hard, will be for our best interests down the road.

So hold onto that which is most precious and don't cast your pearls before swine.

In other words, dump the pig.
