Yes, I switched from Pennzoil to Valvoline... and it really has improved my gas mileage....

Converted, no. But there have been some very good answers from people whose viewpoints are very different than mine. They've made me think, and consider aspects I had not before considered. I've researched information they have offered, and done some introspection to determine the validity of my own reasons for what I believe. I haven't done a total flip-flop on anything, but I've had to revise my views a bit. Which is, to me, essential for my own growth.
There's a lot of fluff, and some true garbage offered in this forum that you have to wade through, but to a person seeking a free exchange of views and information, it's well worth it.

A person brought up some good information on the benefits of soccer. I had never paid attention to the sport before, but this person made me take a look at the sport. and now I am a fan. Does that count?

Nope. It has reinforced my view that I prefer to follow my own path independent of organized religion... so many hypocrites end up not converting people and turn them off instead.
