I'm going to Middle school this fall, and I'm nevrous. Does anyone have any advice for me to calm my fear.

I'm an 8th grader, so just find some really stylish colthes, two really cool friends, and a cute boyfriend. in 7th grade, don't try to be the popular girl. u wouldn't want to seem so stuck up. so my advice, stick with friends that will always be there, and try not to be the center of attention. u could be next year. i finally relized that.

It is kinda different but it's not too bad. You will have a hard time the first week and ur probably not going to be in the same homeroom as ur old friends which forces you to make new friends. You can still keep your old friends but they too might make new friends and so will you so you might not hang out as much anymore. As for lockers, KEEP IT NEAT, something i have yet to learn. Write ur locker combo in ur agenda so you don't forget it after holidays or something. You'll have more homework and the schoolwork will be harder but that's part of getting older. Just study and don't blow off work and pay attention in class and be respectful and ur grades will be good, I promise. It'll get alot easier once you find a new friend or two that you can eat lunch with or hang out with. Join lots of clubs and activities so you can meet lots of new people. The more people you know the more comfortable the school will feel. Don't spread rumors or gossip because you'll bet the reputation of a bitc* and you don't want that to happen. Just be nice to everyone even people you hate and then you won't have any enimies. Just try to enjoy middle school and don't stress over small things. Good Luck in the fall!

If its anything like my school its going to be very different then elementry school. MOST people even end up likeing it more. Its NOT as scary as it seems. You have a lot more oppertunties. If your into sports theres sports teams, if u like to join clubs theres normally some cool clubs to join. And most of the time your with a firmiliar face in ALL classes not always the same person but youll know someone from your old school in your new middle school. so just try to relax and think about all the good things like the clubs sports team and even just more people to ger more friennds!

Just be friendly, but not too friendly. If you see someone looking at you, smile or say hi. Don't come out and tell them your life story, but if you put yourself out there as friendly, you are bound to make friends. And usually, in high school, the most friendly or nice girl whens homecoming or prom, not the most pretty girl. Something to keep in mind.

Middle School is basically, a mini, more preserved version of high school. Just relax. You'll do fine. There will be drama, fights, gossip, no doubt, but before you know it, you'll be graduating and going into 9th grade.

it's not as bad as you think. just don't get lost but the first days it's okay to get lost. just remember your way around and if you need help just ask a teacher. they're not as mean as you think in middle school. you should make friends with a person who's in all of your classes and you guys can help each other find your way around everyday.
