Sadly, my money's on the preps. I'd LIKE the goths to win, but as a rule they're so scrawny and pallid the only truly tuff thing about them is the rivets in their heads.
Preps, on the other hand, are often tweaked-up physically from tennis, golf and sailing (maybe even touch football with the Kennedy's). And I'm afraid the poor goths would be more fearful of all that pink and green than the preps would be of all that black.
Most full-blooded goths would probably become physically ill at the mere sight of the Yale educated legal intern dressed for casual Friday; while many preps, on the other hand, have become inculcated to most things Gothic in appearance--thanks to the Halloween Ball at the frat house--and would probably walk right up to some of the goths, staring intently at their faces, and say things like "Biffers! That's YOU isn't it!?"
An unfair physiological advantage.
Now mind you, if this were a mental battle, a poetry slam or even a battle of the bands, it's goths all the way IMO.
But as neither goths nor preps (with the exception in the latter case of the Duke Lacrosse team) tend to be non-violent in nature; and as both individuals and tribes occupy far different corners of the planet, the need for an altercation is doubtful so it's outcome can remain uncertain without real consequence.

I think preps would win
They are usually in good shape, are more intelligent, and have much better resources.. i.e. money
Goths are white as hell because they stay in doors all damn day.. i.e. they will be blinded the minute they step outside to fight
Goth don't work out and therefore have no muscle mass so they are always Weak as Fuc.k
I would help the preps win

most people will answer goths but hey....Jocks usually hang out with the preps and even though they're cocky *** mofos they can kick some ***. Most goths don't work out like they do. Although goths usually know the most vital areas of the human body and have more connections to weapons. The only way i seem to decide this is to put them all in a 5miles sqaured radius deathmatch.

I think goths. Preps are seriously scared of the goths usually. The preps at my school are terrified of me and my friends and we aren't even that goth. Only a couple of us and STILL we aren't totaly goth.

They may fight now, but then realize once they graduate from high school that the things that they liked were just a phase.
You dont see too many people that are into goth once you reach a certain age.
