just read a response off an American I quote "I envy English people. Life seems to be better there than in the U.S. I know crime and poverty is everywhere, but really, really bad things seem to happen to the U.S. that don't happen to other countries (such as England). I know the subway bombing was pretty bad, but that's one example and happened over a year ago. How many subway bombings happen in the U.S.? One a day, a week? Too many, if you ask me.
I also envy English weather.
Overall, I like English people. Have no beefs with them."

Is this true and if so who is responsible?

Where are you getting your information? There haven't been any subway bombings in the US. We've been very fortunate to not have had any terrorist incidents since 9/11. Still, we are not immune. It could happen at any time.
