Okay, I'm with the woman who said it's man not the hair, but I have to admit that I do find a really hairy back kind of gross to look at. But if I were seeing a guy I really liked and really got along well with, and it turned out he had a hairy back, I wouldn't let it change my opinion. Don't let it bring you down, honey. I know people get tired of hearing that kind of thing in today's society, but it's the truth--women care more about who you are and how you treat them than what you look like. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I hated hairy chests until I met my husband.

Hairy backs dont bother me too much, but they do bother me if it comes up over the shoulders and down the front like a vest.

At the end of the day, its there and unless you have it waxed regularly, theres not a lot you can do about it. I dont think people will recoil in horror if you take your top off, some people love hairy men, others prefer smooth-shaven, its just a matter of personal taste.

All i have to say is accept it or treat it. You could always wax it, but if you do not have the time nor money to do it that often, than look into a long lasting treatment. A lot of men are hairy, whether it's their back, stomach, chest, or butt, so you're not alone. A lot of women find it to be very sexy as well.

Not bad, very very good. It's all subjective though...however, I would suggest learning to live with it is better for you than going through a nightmare trying to get rid of it - no point as you will find a woman who loves it. All this hair removal nonsense is just a trend...a rather scary trend to makes adults look like pre-pubescents. And it makes some people a hell of a lot of money. Hair on men's bodies - on everyone's bodies - is normal; spending time, cash, effort and suffering getting rid of it at intervals for a lifetime is...well, I suppose it's done to fit in and to increase sexual attractiveness, so it's logical, but a bit sheeplike too.

Well, I think plenty of people might consider it a turn off if your back is super hairy. You know, the process of electrolysis has greatly improved over the years. If you're feeling that badly about your image, it might be worth looking into. I always feel badly when I hear someone is ashamed of their body and it's affecting them socially. If it bothers you that much, change it! This is strictly what I consider a cosmetic adjustment-kind of like the reason I wear mascara because I feel it makes me look more attractive.

my dad has a really hairy chest and back - when we were kids we used to say he looked like a monkey.
Then when i got old enough to date I only used to date smooth men.
My husband has a very hairy back and chest and I LOVE IT. Its the person not the chest hair - anyway it shows he is a man not a boy!
