Many of us felt we had little or no choice. The two alternatives seemed much worse. Some people are projecting their anger over not having anywhere to go but vote for him - especially in 2004. Our "choice" was between two spoiled Boomers who both went to Yale at about the same time, were in the same club (Skull and Bones), and one is a "Country Club" Republican while the other was a "Limousine" Liberal.

The electoral college system got in the way of the popular vote. Bush lost the popular vote but won the elections.

Wow, um... 1,000,000 more people voted for GORE than Bush, but our gov has strange rules. Oh and I did NOT vote for Bush twice... I voted against him twice and also actively went out and begged folks to vote... well, it didn't work. Americia likes to be stupid and then complain about it later. I think ppl got scared after 9-11 and decided they better stick with Bush, because he was already working on solving the problem.... (yeah, right!)

I guess it's that after 5 years he still hasn't secured our borders, wants to sell our shipping to an Arab country, wants to sell our airlines to foreign countries. Cared less about the people of Katrina. Screws the middle class of the country, breaks the law at every chance and sides with illegals over his own citizens. It was all hidden for a long time so he could sound intelligent, but it's out in the open now and we can all see what the country is like under an all Republican congress. If your not a big cooperation, put your head between your knees and kiss your---goodbye.

I didn't vote for him either time, but you have people that voted twice for him in the same election, they are the more mentally diminished of the population. The ones that need immediate admittance to a mental hospital are the few that still support him.

well for one thing they have a lot to complain about. 2 ongoing unpopular, unrenting wars with ww111 possibly in the making while bush&cheney count their money. 3 dollar a gallon gas the highest price in 25 years adjusted for inflation!! illegal immigration totally out of control while bush worries about gay marriage??? the national debt astronomically adding up while bush smirks and fondles women in public!!! what i find even more astonishing is that some 35% still find him to be a great leader???? the whole world laughs at us and our ignorant president!! those of you that voted for him even once should be very proud that you have completed the process of making the usa the stupidist country in the world, both educational and politically!!

I didn't vote for him. I don't like Bush or his views, actions, and decisions. Although Clinton committed some bad acts in office, I voted for him because I liked how he ran our country. He made better choices when important things were on the line, like the war in Iraq.

Bush didn't win the popular vote the first time around - the second time look at the choice the dems put up????? Sometimes it is just easier to pick the problem you already know.
maybe next time we will get some real choices!

Tell them to quit whining, it's their fault. If every person voted for the candidate that truly reflected his or her views, we would likely have a third party or libertarian in office right now. Republicrats and Democans are simply two different heads attached to the same monster. Do your research. Quit voting for someone based on terrorist scare tactics or charismatic charm.
