So, even though we kill hundreds or thousands and they kill dozens, they are morally inferior.

No American should be griping about Israel, when not only is there a Washington Jeruselem consensus on these acts, the acts themselves have had full participation and encouragement of the US. Complain to your Senators and Congressmen not to eachother. Unless that is, you are indeed too brainwashed to understand the scenes unfolding daily on your screen.

Even the kidnapping was done first by Israel, it of course was not reported, but a doctor and his wife were taken weeks prior to the 2 soldiers by Lebanon, first by the Israelis.

The general American public is brainwashed when it comes to this issue, yes. Just like they believe if the person doing the killing is of Arab descent, he is a terrorist. But if it happens to be a Zionist Israel soldier or an American soldier, he is a hero. It is a double standard used to mold the minds of the weak that do not know better. Collateral damage can only go so far. When innocent people of any country or region regardless of weather there is a terrorist organization in that country die it is a war crime. Israel is breaking the geneva convention and committing war crimes.

Israel has wanted to invade Lebanon for over a year. It is an unfortunate thing that Israel kills so many innocent people in flexing their military force.

If Canada found a large group of terrorists living in Seatle Washington and decided to bomb it, killing american civilians and destroying that cities and states infurastructure Americans would not stand for it. Even if they said they were "Just".

Well, depending on how you define "they," I think it's pretty obvious that "they" intentionally kill innocent civilians. Strapping a bomb to your chest and blowing yourself up in front of a pizza shop can only be interpreted one way.

As for "us," if we were out to intentionally kill civilians, I think we could do a better job than we have been doing. If the goal of Israel or the U.S. was just to kill Muslims, we'd be carpet bombing like we did back in WWII.

So, looking at this reasonably, I don't think I'm brainwashed. And I do think a murderer is worse than someone who commits manslaughter. I'd have a much lower opinion of a guy who slits a woman's throat than a man who accidentally crashes his car and kills 5 people in the process...wouldn't you?

If it was my family, I would grieve. But then again, I'd curse myself for not having the sense to get the hell out of a war zone after it was clear what was coming.

1. My family & friends would not elect a terrorist from a terrorist organization to federal gov't offices.
2. I am complaining and that is only because Israel is fighting a minimalistic war and not using all the power that she has. Hezbollah & supporters of them need to feel the terrific power of large weapons and then they might understand who are the bad guys and who are the good guys. Just ask JAPAN - they know who the good guys are.
