try putting some clear nail polish on the inside of the ring.

Have a local jeweler send it out for gold plating.
It will stay nice and bright,won't turn your finger green,and you get to
enjoy this ring that you like very much!
Easy!
(Do not paint with clear nail polish,it's an awful idea)

It does that because it's not made from a precious metal. You should try clear nailpolish along in the inside of the ring where it touches your finger.
Otherwise just grin and bear it!

Coat the band part of the ring with clear nail polish..it works..as long as you re apply the clear polish once it wears off.

That used to happen to me...you might just have sensitive skin and you're allergic. Don't wear it anymore, or else buy a sensitive skin metal or a real gold/silver ring.
