Well Pearl Jam is still going strong. They rock. Post grunge, in my mind, is so much better with Creed, Scott Stapp, Alter Bridge, Nickelback, Shinedown and Staind. The Foo Fighters rock too. Nirvana was great and it sux that Kurt killed himself.

Yep.
I miss the soft vocal / heavy guitar / loud vocal cadence of grunge.
Some perfect examples are:
"Shutterbug" from Veruca Salt
"S.L.T.S." from Nirvana
"Would" from AIC
Just about anything from Smashing Pumpkins
I also miss the one-word titles (both album and song titles) of the 90's: Evenflow, Would, Nevermind, Ten, Dirt, Superunknown, etc.

Not really but I do miss Nirvana. I miss the more '70s punk that sent shivers up your spine at how much energy went into it. Even the old Buzzcocks now kick most bands' derrieres live.

I miss good Rock era from any decade different than from the 2000s, in basic terms with the aid of fact they have not been out long adequate, the best ones besides. definite, I miss watching MTV and VH1 before the corruptible and tasteless actuality shows of in the present day, I miss (before my dad surpassed directly to the great beyond) whilst my dad and that i used to take heed to good Rock jointly like Nirvana etc.
