I've spent so much time on here preaching about the issues of religion and homosexuality. I firmly believe homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of God.

I have to confess that last night I had a lesbian encounter with a girlfriend of mine. I'm not sure what to do from here. I only hope I didn't contract one of the many dangerous disease of the sexual lifestyle.

Please pray for me! I don't want to regress to this behavior in the future. God bless!

your going to hell for that lesbian encounter. Not because it was with another girl, because you are so closed minded about it and show so much hatred. I will only pray that you can expand your mind enough to accept homosexuals, and realise THERE ARE NO DANGEROUS DISEASES OF THE LIFESTYLE!

Ok, first, remember to breathe. If you stop breathing, then you're really in trouble here. That is a joke. It's a lame joke, but that's what you get. Remember to breathe.

First, lesbian sex has the lowest STD transmission rate of any sex, so disease wise, you're better off having sex with your friend then if you were having sex with a guy. So relax about that.

Second, you need to take some time and calmly think about why this happened, what exactly happened, and how you feel about it. Because this is going to determine everything.

Look, wacky sh*t sometimes happens. If fooling around with your friend felt weird or only seemed appealing because you were curious or drunk or high or something, then chalk it up to a one time thing and move along. If you loved every freakin minute of it, then that is a horse of a different color. I'm not saying you need to become this total out lesbian or bisexual woman over it, I'm just saying that if this was something you found enjoyable at the time, then freaked out about after, then you'll have to square yourself with that part of yourself some day. And trust me there is no time like the present for that, no matter what the outcome. Don't be one of those people that is still trying to secretly suss out their sexuality in their 40's or 50's. Thats just sad.

And finally, stop beating up on yourself. Guilt wont change the past, just be mindful of your present and use that mindfullness to shape your future. Don't built a future on lies or hopes of what you wish you could be, build it on who you are, whomever you are.

Good luck and hope you find whatever it is that you're looking for.

Stop with the worry...you have been ranting about issues for a reason...self fear. Now you know! Consider yourself luck to have found out all the reasons you have been so "phobic." And, thanks for the honesty, it is refreshing to see it here. You have not contracted any disease. Why in the world would you attribute disease with gays? You have been brainwashed unfairly. STD's are no more prevelent in Gays than in Straights. And in fact, the chances of getting HIV from a woman are miniscule. Other STD's have the same chances as anyone else. And stop with the prayer stuff. Follow your heart, not the minds of ignorant fools who preach hate in the guise of God. God created you, you follow his will, not a lunatic minister's who passes himself off as God.!! Good luck. I would hope that in the future, you are far more understanding of what Gays go through daily, be more compassionate, and stop with the judgements of "sin". We are NOT sinners! At least, not anymore than anyone else. We are NOT child molesters, certainly not to the extent that straights are (90% of child abuse and molestation are committed by straights!)

The fiercest homophobes are often gay themselves. Research is proving this more and more. Before I came to terms with myself I was scared and would have attacked physiclly and verbally anyone that insinuated I might be gay. I had to move across the country. to come to terms with myself in a place where no one knew me. And many gays have to do the same thing.

You arn't evil.

God made you the way he did because that is how he wanted you to be.

You are loved.

You need time and education. Read coming out stories. Go to gay bookstores and gay sections of book stores. Go to a gay lesbian community center. See gay films: latter days, boys don't cry, gold fish membories, kissing jessica stein, broken hearts club, transamerica...

Don't rush. Just go with the flow. It will be ok.

Julia, You obviously have some soul searching to do. I am gay. I will support if you never have another lesbian experience, if for no other reason - you have the right to be you. The only thing I ask is that you recognize that I have the right to be me. God gives me that right - free will. the law of the state of NY also allows it. I don't ask you to like that I do this only that you accept that I have the right to make that choice and live free of harassment.

If you're worried about "dangerous diseases" then I guess you went a lot farther than holding hands. Watch out for crabs and yeast infections!!

I won't pray for you because:

1. I don't believe in god.
2. I don't think it's anything to pray for, it's not bad.

And please Julia admit to us for once and for all that you LOVED that lesbian encounter and you want to repeat!

I hear ya sistah, I just hope it was another Black girl you did. Interracial relationships are an abomination in the eyes of God too. I'll be praying for you.

Apparantly you didn't get the answer you wanted last time. Still looking for what you want to hear, and that alone, are we?

I am sorry that you have nothing else to do with your time. I, however, am a very busy woman. If only you could use your powers for good, instead of evil.......
