It's a good day when someone calls you by name and tells you how much you mean to them. It is even better when they tell you that you made a difference in their life.
It's a good day when you show up early for church and all kinds of beautiful people are there wanting to see and talk to you. You know that God put them up to it! Aint' it grand?
It's a good day, the day after a really bad day.

A date with my husband
Painting pottery with my kids
Getting emails from my best friends
A hike with my dad in the woods
Seeing my sister happy
Watching my kids get excited because they accomplished something well
Someone brought doughnuts
Getting thanks for something you thought was unnoticed
A dinner with people on the other side of the political fence that doesn't include discussion on politics or religion
Hanging with my best friends
Watching a funny or sappy movie
Reading a funny book
Reading an inspiring book
A good conversation
The faux painting or stencil turns out like you want it
All agreeing on where to eat Sunday lunch
