I knew a family that lived in a house that had some weird things going on in it.... they were renting it... the tv would turn on and off by it's self, they heard footsteps, the doors would open and close on their own and in the passage leading to the bedrooms it was icy cold... The house was demolished after they left and two skeletons were found under it... I think it was a soldier and a prisoner, they could tell by the clothing remaining, from the 18th century... Also it was discovered that the back step was somebody's tombstone. I know from someone completely trustworthy that is close relative of the family and had been to the house that this story is true. The site of the house is now a radio station, but I don't know if anything still goes on there or not? I also heard that the family had a guest stay one night... An adult woman... In the middle of the night she ran screaming in terror to her hosts bedroom (husband and wife) and jumped into their bed between them and would not be moved.

There are tons of haunted houses or haunted places that I know of, but if you are asking if there are any near me where I have or plan to visit, then yes is the answer. There's the "Mysterious lights of Cole Mountain" and "Granger House" both near me in the same small town.

There's an old mill near my house(it's probably about 100 years old) and rumor has it that a women that worked there a long time ago, was leaning out the window to yell at a man below, and she fell out, and right below where she fell was some type of fan and it cut her head off. Now, everyone says she walks around the neighborhood at night looking for her head.

A lot of hotels in St.Augustine, FL are. They even give you a ghost tour and stuff, it's one of my favorite places to visit. That's about the only place I know that's haunted, I mean without searching Google.
