Every woman in my family has the magical green thumb, except me......I can kill an air fern! Yes the talent for growing things, called "having a green thumb" is real, not a myth.

Definitely there is -- my mom can take flowers out of a vase that have been dying for a week, stick them in the ground and have a plant grow by next season! Everything she touches blooms, roots, grows -- it's just amazing. She has the worst exposure at her condo -- northwest -- and the most amazing flower garden imaginable. Me -- I'm the brown thumb (LOL!) -- but both brothers got her green thumb as well.

Yeah, I think there is such a thing as having a "green thumb" because I've seen people kill houseplants -lol- and all you have to do is water them!

Just as there are people who are good at:
making money
baking bread
raising kids
painting pictures
solving probems
there are people who are good at growing things.
