I am sure your statement is an exaggeration because being in the bill of rights and a cornerstone of the government, there is really no way they can wipe it out. There would be riots if they even tried.

However, he might try to amend it to include the idea of suspicion of terrorism into "probable cause" and be able to get warrants with it.

But as far as stripping all 4th ammendment rights, I don't think it will be possible.

Plus don't worry, they don't really have enough time left in their administration to get a huge mother of a bill like that through the legislation. I can't wait to see what a new president will be like.

Oh, well at the rate they are going with all of this terrorism stuff any search can now be warranted as protecting these United States. A war on terrorism should not include the privacy of individuals who have been ideal citizens for their entire lives, but maybe the Vice President figures that like himself anyone can be bought for a price.

The fourth amendment protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures. Cheney is the vice president, the weakest man in Washington. And in his role as President of the Senate he can control what legislation gets voted on, but he cannot propose legislation.

I don't suppose you'd care to list your source for this important news? Seems the mainstream media let his one slip past them.

YA MISBACH!, you know its funny cause today...I was driving past the local Shell station and Dick Cheney jumped infront of my car with a gun and hounded me into the station. That bastard made me fill up the whole tank and then told me if I didn't drive it all off and come back for more that day, he'd kill my mother. And yesterday I woke up, and Dick had stolen my bike, and then bombed all the train and bus stations in the area, and then that S.O.B. stole all my shoes so I couldn't do the unthinkable and WALK somewhere. I just can't believe him and Haliburton keep FORCING me to buy gas. I'm gonna have to write a letter.

This is the first I have heard of this. How is he planning on doing this? He is after all only the Vice President. It has to make it passed the house, congress, and the President. You can't get a candy bar passed those three.

No, I have not heard this but I am not surprised. Cheney is nothing but a hypocrite. He is the same schmuck who refused to make his 9/11 testimony public and be sworn under oath. I can't stand him.

Do you not know what it takes to amend our Constitution?

The Vice President, the President, the House of Representatives, the Senate, CANNOT accomplish it, singularly or together.

Who are you listening to?
