i lost my father when i was 13, but with the time we did have together he taught me so much about everything. I really to miss him alot, even though its been 8 years, its still so hard, there are so many things i wanted to happen, like when i have my first child, i thought it would be so exciting and nervous telling my dad, but that won't happen now, but i guess that's life, its not always easy.

I have lost my grandmother and she was a wonderful and beautiful woman inside and out and she has learned me so many things. She taught me to never ever give up on my self and always be myself and follow my heart and make my dreams come true no matter how hard things might get. She also taught me to shine my warm light into the world and always help others out of the goodness of my heart without expecting anything in return. I'm what I'm today because off all the things my grandmother taught me with so much love and so much patience. She has and will always be my role model and my teacher and I still think about her everyday with lots of warm and loving feelings.

Yes, my husband. Almost four years ago. It's something that I've moved past, but will be with me forever. It's very strange when someone you've been with constantly just suddenly isn't there. He died very suddenly and unexpectedly. Yes, the effect was profound.

My Grandmother, an amazing woman and though only 4'11" tall with beautiful hair that reached her ankles (she wore it twisted up in a bun, but I'll never forget watching her brush it). When she was in her 80's she'd be visiting her ailing friends in their 60's and 70's and nursing them back to health. As a child, we were always picking up street urchins and taking them to church with us, taking food baskets to the needy, and visiting people home bound or in the hospital. Full of energy, full of love, and very powerful, she was mother to all who knew her. I miss her greatly, but recognize the legacy she left behind. And I know what a great honor it is to have had her as my grandmother.

Yep. Shawn Brown. He was trying to stop a guy from making a bad choice who entered the church that Shawn was in. The guy started accusing everyone of being hypocrits and saying that God was an angry God. Shawn told him that he needed Christ in his heart and asked Him to not hurt anyone. The guy shot 7 people including Shawn and Shawn died that night.

Yes, my sister was killed in a car accident when she was 20 (I was 23 at the time). We were extremely close and I found it hard to live without her for awhile. I did find that I realized she was a role model for me and allowed me to get my life in order because of how she lived her life to the fullest.

I think we all have...My Grandmother for example...when she was alive I never considered that one day she wouldn't be here,,,,she was always there to help and talk to...and she really believed to the power of prayer...she prayed for me all the time. And when she was alive it seemed I had a charmed life..now that she is gone, life has been hard --- I miss her praying for me.
