I really wish Asian guys were more physcially attractive bc besides this point, they're so wonderful for the most part. Of all the ethnic groups I've come across, they're the least sketchy and the most decent in a lot of respects. I think I can get over the looks thing bc I know in the end personality and devotion are way more important...but sometimes I look at hot American guys and just wish the Asian guys I met looked as hot bc then they'd be perfect. Really, there are sooo many wonderful, sweet Asian guys. I've dated mostly white guys (I'm an all-american suburban girl) but most of them aren't nearly as classy and respectful as the Asian guys I've met. Should I just forget about looks and go with the other aspects of the guy? There are some hot Asian guys, but it's kind of uncommon. What do you guys think?

Wow, what makes you think its ok to generalize like that?? My best friend is Asian and her brothers could turn heads wherever they go. I've had a crush on her oldest brother for years now. Saying that any race is only this or all that is extremely stupid and close-minded, not to mention ignorant.

Just because you haven't met attractive Asian men yet, does not necessarily mean that ALL Asian men are not attractive.
Generally speaking, Asian men are polite, rich, responsible, family-oriented, good team players, enjoy different kinds of tasty foods, well-educated and major financial supporters of his family.
Also, some people think that Asian men do not possess a muscular characteristics as some Westerners do. That's not always the case. Nowadays, younger Asian generations are growing taller and stronger. They also build their body and learn how to treat women nicely.
They are, in general, quite strong (and muscular) mentally. They won't give up easily. They set up goals, VERY hard working until they reach where they wanted to be. They don't show emotions, especially something they considered a sign of weakness. Therefore, you rarely see an Asian man shed tears in public or at home, in that matter. Per Asian people's definition of "Strong", it's not only strong in body figure but also strong in mental strength.
One more thing that I'd like to point out is that Asian men are not always shy, it's just another stereotype of Asian men.
Lack of the ability to commend English is perhaps the reason why they may look not friendly. When you get to know Asian people, you will know that they are rather friendly and always respect to people from different culture.

Asian men need to "man up". I am tired of the mass media taking our masculinity away. What you need to do is go out with whoever you want, not as an Asian man, but as a man. Asian men have been very strong and the past proves it. Look at the Great wall, do you think a bunch of weaklings built that. The media has casted a horrible picture of us. Man up...

There are alot of good looking asian men out there.
It's the media that portrays asian guys as unattractive and white guys as hunks. Therefore you tend to see most asian guys as physically unattractive.
It's the same media that portrays asian women as highly exotic and sexual. But in reality, they are no different than any other women.

Beauty/attractiveness lies in the eye of the beholder. What some find attractive, others find repulsive. If you like a person for what they are on the inside, you are going to be happier with them than if you only like the outside view. People place too much emphasis on "looks"....when you become elderly, no one knows or cares what you used to look like. However, if you're a good person, when you get old people will still notice it and respect you for it.

I assume you live in asia. There are a lot of unattractive guys other than asian. Walk around Europe and you'll understand.

wierd huh. most guys are ugly some are alright (i'mnotgay ok)
but most of the girls (save a few) are beautiful.
