my situation. we have been chatting for several months now.. and have shared many of the same qualities.. i would like for her to come and marry me, but she wants me to send money so she can go thru an agency,, which she can tell me nothing about. i am not fond of the idea, so i suggest to go thru proper channels here in the usa..(department of homeland securities), well she does not want to go that route.. she insist on me sending money ($4000) so she can use an agency,, my question for anyone is , is there such a thing as a legitimate agency who can get her a visa passport, or proper documents, so she could come,, or is it just a scam, i believe that $4000 even if it is legit is quite expensive. is there any one out there who can tell me what the proper procedure for appying for a visa or other, for her to come to the usa.. i have heard of many scams coming from certain places.. and deep down i feel that this is one of them,, any advice would be well taken,, peace

The other three are right. It is a scam. Don't send the money. It will be $4000 down the toilet. Where the hell is Accra?

This is a con artist that won over your trust. She may be talking about going through a traveling agency. They can be quite expensive but not that expensive. I would pass because this person is probably feeding this same line to other men. Tell her that you don't have the money and see what happens. Besides why can't she come up with the money if she wants to come over here so bad. Be very careful when it comes to foreigners.

The woman is trying to scam you. If she enters here illegally and you help her, will you too have to pay the price when she gets caught? Or are you prepared to send her money, then lose all the money when she cuts all ties to you?
This is a very serious crime she is commiting.. please don't fall victim to it. As to the proper procedure for obtaining a visa.. contact immigration. They should be able to help you with that. What ever you decide to do, you should prepare yourself for the worst possible case senario.

Dude, you're instincts are right - trust them!!

$4000 is outrageous! You can get a passport and a plane ticket for way less than that!!!

If you send the money - I highly doubt you'll see her.

Save your cash and heart for someone who isn't trying to scam you!

Good Luck, Bra!

Aloha!!
