California scares me, I wouldn't want to live there. Too many earthquakes.

I've lived in California for the last 38 of my 58 years and love it. In my personal opinion, people here are more open-minded, more creative, and were much friendlier than people in other parts of the country until the 1980's, when population began to explode in the Los Angeles region, whereupon Los Angeles became one of the most mean-spirited cities in the nation. Other cities in California have maintained their reputations of being friendly and polite, even in the midst of population expansion.

hi Dogfather, i'm in Hong Kong now. No, no longer the main inexpensive hotel and not the costliest. I"m frugal yet no longer inexpensive. huge difference right here from the Philippines. every person who needs the "maximum inexpensive" hotel interior the Philippines does not be responsive to what he's placing himself up for. in fact, every person who needs inexpensive something interior the Philippines gets an fairly unsightly ask your self. Yeah, its good to keep and cut back corners yet extra clever to save around. extra clever yet, do no longer purchase or lease "sight unseen". A "Flop homestead" interior the states is extra clever than maximum Pension residences interior the Philippines. i've got taken the time to examine some Pension residences out interior the Philippines basically out of interest. NO phucking way i might stay in one. like the seaman suggested, "inexpensive isn't good and good isn't inexpensive" ( interior the Philippines ) Have a great day, chum,

California is the best place to live. Especially in Orange County where I live. People who hate California are just jealous because they cannot afford to live here. The weather is nice, beautiful people, clean cars and streets, good paying jobs and we dont have earthquakes like anti californians said we do. We have it maybe once in a full moon. People who hate Californians saying we're all stupid and snobbish are just pist off East coast or middle america people who have sucky jobs and can't afford to live here. Plus their place suck and boring.

* "The Big One" (earthquake) will sink it ... or set off nuclear weapons ... where there's tons of nukes.

* English is a forien language - Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese dominate

* Real-estate prices ... unreal!!! Gas Prices (faint) ...

* "Rolling-Black outs" yickes ... electricity companies who gamble with $, and then can't provide electricity.

* Water shortages.

* Wild Fires and mudslides.

* Politics always running to the USA Federal Government saying, "We spent all our money ... can we have more?" ... so sick of hearing we have to bail out California AGAIN.

* Northern California where they grow grapes and make wine ... kinda modern Italian country sounds nice

*Disney land should be it's own state!!! (Just like Washington D.C.)

* Their Governor is a donkey in elephants clothing.

I live here and like it. Has every type of climate, person, etc. Pro civil rights and pro feminist for the most part. Drawbacks are illegals trying to move the borders, crime, reverse racism (that's not what I call it, that's what it's called), and pollution.

I'd never want to live anywhere else! You cannot beat the weather here. Yes it is expensive, but once you have lived in ideal weather, it is hard to go back to miserable climates.
