That is crazy that I just read this question. I just had my son 3 days ago, and named him Rowan. I know this really has nothing to do with your question, but where did you hear the name?

Rowan is in my Celtic tree oracle cards= protection ageist enchantment,control of all senses I think it would go for a boy that's just me you should know I named my son Devon and it goes for either and did not know that
