All people will respond to others by what they have learned in the past. If women have experienced, or heard, that men need to be observed before they can be trusted then yes, they are going to be cautious. What you hear on the news, see around towns, etc. are men beating or cursing women, getting drunk and causing fights, being reckless with no regard to others, walking out on their families, etc. Given all that , I would have to say more women need to be cautious of men.

Yes, I am cautious of most male strangers. Even when they are at my work place and I have security there. I work for a high end designer for shoes so we have security to protect our patented design.

Yes. Especially if the man is bigger or looks quite strong. This is because the amount of women getting raped or killed while alone by groups of men has gone up since 1990.
Also, if a man randomly came up to me and tried to hit on me, I would be really wary of him because a) it was unexpected, b) I don't know the man, so my expectations of what might happen suddenly increase.

Yes....and if they aren't they should be....too many scary stories out there. Only takes a few scary men to make us cautious of the rest of you...sorry.

Yes and not just because of fear of physical danger, but also because we know that you all have ulterior motives. How often does someone approach you randomly not wanting money, sex, a signature for a petition, etc???? Not often!
