Fergie has proven over and over again he is a superb manager!
and I am not a United fan.To last twenty years at the very top says something. Fergie will not regret selling Van Nistelrooy as he probably has another plan in mind and does not need a prima-donna like Van Nistelrooy (or previously Beckham) thinking they are bigger than the club and creating negativity in the team.

no. and however says fergie is an idiot should think again. van nistelrooy is a great player. he does what you need him to do, put the ball in from the 6 yard box. however, he does not create goals, like henry, or get involved often, like rooney. fergie will find someone to replace him, maybe not rossi just yet, but someone. saha, rooney, park, ronaldo could make a great 4 3 3 forward line. n scholes is back in midfield. with carrick. the goals should come.
and to those of you who say his kicked out too many good players, think again. stam was a good player. fine . yorkes career took a dive just after he left. cole plays at city(enough said). beckham went to real for money, not football coz real dont play football. and he can cross. wow. these guys left coz they were too big for the team, or coz fergie knew. if anyone can point out someone apart from stam who was big or was supposed to be big at united and is better off elsewhere, ill be surprised.

No, regardless of what happens he won't regret it just like he didn't regret getting rid of David Beckham.

Yes, Ferguson is a donkey, look at all the good players who he has pushed out through the years, Beckham, Stam, Yorke, Cole, Sharpe Keane and now Van nistleroy. Idiot. How much more will the fans stand for?

No, they will move the great Alan Smith back to striker with Carrick as a Red, and with Saha and Rooney, I don't think Ruud will be missed.

I doubt it. Just remember that his aim was excellent when he kicked that boot in Beckham's face. He could never miss with a horse's head to aim at.
"Why the long face, Ruud?"

Does Fergie regret anything? He is a tyrant and thinks he is always right. Grumpy old sod.
