My boyfriend is supposed to get a 90 day evaluation at his company which he began work at on May 1. Would his evaluation be August 1st, or do they count actual business days? The company has employees that work some weekend hours, though his position does not require it. What do you think?

It is actually 90 days, not 90 business days, so it would be August 1st.

It all depends upon the company. Some of them use 90 calendar days, others use 90 working days. He should check with his company to find out how they figure it.

That phrase normally means 90 calendar days, or in his case, on or about August 1. But it they're late, they're late. A lot of "targets" are missed in business.
