We all have dead ends.

If you caught a 14-pound trout every time you cast your fly, or shot a 250-pound mountain lion every time you took off your lens cap, the sports of fly-fishing and big-game photography would not be as exciting as they are. Part of the excitement of Genealogy is breaking through that brick wall; finding the will, baptism record or veteran's pension application that gives you six more people.

These are my standard links for beginners. If you've tried all of your dead ends on all of the sites, I apologize for taking your time. If not, try, try again - and try alternate spellings.
