I've downloaded some MP3's but they only play on my computer. I'd like to play them in my car...

Ok, you should know that I do not have an MP3 player. When I burn the files onto a CD using Windows Media Player, it doesn't play on my regular CD player.

also, when trying to burn the files, I got a message saying there was an error and couldn't continue. Now what?

burn them to a cd then use the cd in the car

Yes, I used the Nero software that came with my MP3 player to do this. I would take those MP3 files that were on my computer and had them converted in 'CD files' and burned on a blank CD. Worked perfectly.

Just burn the MP3's to a CD as an audio file and not a data file. You can do this with any cd burning software...
