I love singing, it's one of my best talents, but I'm too afraid to sing my best in front of people but m friends.

It's okay; it's very normal. You've probably seen how harsh they can be on American Idol and other shows. But most people aren't like that. If you want to sing in public, bring a posse of trusted friends to cheer you on, and look right at them!

you might have stage fright. a good way to overcome that is by having a friend you are really close to be up on the stage with you and just look at them and sing the song to them and ignore the crowd until you feel comfortable or your performance is done

Ask any pro.
They get that first moment of stage fright too.

It's a fear of an audience that may not be receptive or favorable on any particular night.

The best have bombed at one time or another in their career.
It will get easier. Keep on keeping on.

well...ur scared u will mess up in front of ppl who matter and u want 2 impress...c..if u were in front of a bunch of random pplz u didnt no u wouldnt b as scaredd...just look ahead of u wen u sing in front of pplz u no...and u wont even notice they r there

just close your eyes and imagine you're in the shower singing. thats what i'd do.
