Only on countries that have CDMA network. If they are on a GSM network then no..The countries that are on the CDMA network that Verizon includes are: Aruba, Bermuda, Bonaire, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Canada, China, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Guam, India, Israel, Jamaica, Macau, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Saipan, South Koren, St. Maarten, Taiwan, Thailand, US Virgin Islands, and Venezuela. If you are going to a country on the GSM network then you can rent a global phone for 3.99 a day plus any usage and you have to place a $300 security deposit. You should allow at least 10 working days and be aware that anything over £15 imported from a non EC country will mean you will have to pay 20% VAT plus a customs charge & UK customs take around 2 weeks to clear personal imports.
