Isn't it a shame that the people who can afford to pay are the ones with the big tax breaks and don't pay. They will spend two dollars to get away without paying Uncle Sam 1 dollar

Humans are hypocritical. Why do people who make millions and billions of dollars a year complain about world hunger, yet do nothing to help resolve the problem? Why do people complain about the atmosphere, yet drive in a Hummer to get 2 miles down the street to work? Hm? Humans are hypocritical.
Why do people say they cannot afford the 10 cents a day to feed the starving children, when they sit in air-conditioned, well-lit homes, typing on a computer, using Internet service that they pay for? Why do people say that they think people should not waste food, yet, throw away half of their meal because "they didn't like it" or "are too full" or "it wasn't cooked well" or "I'm getting too fat"? Hm? Humans are hypocritical. You are, I certainly am, and so is everyone else. Get used to it.

We are taxed by percentage... so those who earn more pay more.
If you busted your a$$ to make a million dollars, would you want to loose $230,000 of it?
That's a lot more money than someone who works for minimum wage and pays $300 in taxes at the end of the year.
Anyhow, last I heard... EVERYONE complains at tax time.

Just because they have money doesn't mean they like to give it away. And how would you feel paying for everyone else?

Listen *****, I'm not rich and me and my old lady paid over $75,000 in federal and state taxes and another $12000 in property tax in 2005... You paid a lot less than that, I'm sure. I use the same services you do , roads, military....And I don't use any fringe services...welfare, medicare, what have you.... Let me get this straight...We use the same services and I have to pay more for them just because we worked hard to get good jobs and do better than you...Move to Cuba, communist..

The more you make the more they tax you, the less you get. You have to go to the very wealthy to get the breaks you are talking about. Personally I don't like taxes, they are a necessary evil, but I don't have to like it and I will make them fight me for every nickle they take from me. I also expect them to work even harder when they do get my tax money.

If you were constantly persecuted by jealous people, wouldn't you complain? If you were told to follow your dreams and work hard, and then punished for being successfull, wouldn't you compain?
No matter what the politicians tell you, you are not entitled to steal somebody elses money just because they have more than you.

I am not rich, but I can see why they complain. How would you feel if you gave half of what you earned in taxes, would you not complain?
