Go back to the piercer or a doctor.

You can try to ice it and then if the swelling has gone down enough, take out the earring and do not replace it. Use an antibiotic ointment and alcohol.
I had a friend that got an infection in her ear pierceing and ended up staying in the hospital and needed a plastic surgeon to fix her ear. It was expensive and the shop that did the piercing did nothing for her because she signed a waiver before hand.

you need to have a hoop in that can go in and through your ear hole completely. You need to be putting iodine or peroxide on that thing a lot. Your ear will keep getting worse if you don't get the front of the earring out. Try pushing on the back. If it is a hoop, then don't worry about it. Just keep it clean and keep dousing it with disinfectant.

Oh, eww! This happened to me, but it was the back of my earring.

I just twisted at it all day until it finally came out. It was SO nasty, and it hurt REALLY bad, but that was really all I could do.

You could...maybe take some tweezers and try to pull it out.

I'm sorry to say, any way you do it is gonna hurt really bad. I would suggest putting the cleaning solution that the ear-piercing place gave you (or, legally, they SHOULD have given you) on your ear while you're doing it.

If nothing works, or if it has completely covered the earring, you'll probably have to go to the doctor/hospital to get it out.

Goodness sakes, that sounds miserable. I'd put some ice on it for awhile, then some disinfectant to see if I could get the swelling down. If you can't get the swelling down and the earring out before too long, I'd be tempted to call the doctor. If you let it go too long, you might end up with some scarring. Then once it healed, I think I'd just go with one hole!
