He says the employment is good because less people are unemployed, he fails to mention that the people who got laid off have jobs making a lot less money than they were before

He says we are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here... who the Iraqis... the people who never attacked us? besides doesn't that sound like their citizens lives are worth way less than ours... nice said for a holy Christian man

He talks about the culture of life but never issued a pardon to anyone in the death row, in fact he made fun of a female convict the night after she was executed in Larry King, because she said she was a born again

He won't fund stem cell research even though it could help cure millions of people around the world

His enviromental record is a disaster...we have more polutants than ever before, and his clean air iniciative is just people formerly in gas and other pollutants who are in charge

His no child left behind education program was never funded

I am not a Democrat or Republican. I vote third party. I am an old political science graduate with an ephhasis in international relations. The approval rating I would give George W. Bush would be a "D" on an A-F grading scale. Maybe a D-. He has stripped the U.S. of almost all credibility when it comes to foreign affairs. He has cut off relations with a few countries. His "axis of evil" speech a few years back was disastrous. It will take many years to repair our image around the world. His lack of diplomacy is inexcusable for a president. Liberals and conservatives alike have criticized his administration in this area. As for domestic issues, he has done little except subsidize big business.

He has been a bit of a disappointment actually. The war does not seem like such a good idea and that along with the tax cuts for billionaires has run the national debt up quite a bit. I think he has taken far too many vacations, like the month he took before 9-11 happened--and that after receiving the intelligence report that forecast just terrorist attacks. And his vacation while Katrina was still out at sea, closing in on New Orleans, also seemed ill advised. So all things considered, is there anything lower than an F?

Where were all you people when Clinton was in office? Every day someone asks the same question, worded slightly different, but the same one nonetheless: What do you think of Pres. Bush? Should Bush be impeached? Is Bush wrong? Do you think Bush is a bad president? etc. A person would have to be deaf, blind, and terribly stupid to not realize that alot of people don't like the president. I don't necessarily agree with 100% of what he says or does, but I do think he's trying to do the right thing.

But you know what's funny? I don't ever recall anyone ever asking these same questions until Bush was in office. Bill Clinton looked right into the camera, pointed his finger, and LIED to all of us, but we all just chuckled and looked the other way. After all, he was only having a little fun with a woman who was not his wife. No big deal. Syria offered Osama bin Ladin to us on a silver platter and Clinton said, "nah, gonna pass this time." I don't think I ever heard anyone say, "Do you think Clinton is a bad president?"

I just don't get it.

Ever notice that since 9-11 we have not had any major terrorist attacks in the USA but they are happening all over the rest of the world. I would say Bush is doing a pretty good job for us.

Come on AMERICAN people. You may think it is cool to bash Bush but you are only hurting the esteem of your great country. What kind of signal does it send to other countries if people in the USA are “bad mouthing” their president.

You have the right to freedom of speech and all that but a little common sense is needed when you are standing if front of whole world.
Don’t make this great country a laughing stock to other countries. Oh, just in case you did not know, when you post things on Q&A, there are people from all over the world that read it.

President George W. Bush is many times speaking directly to groups of people with words from his heart. No script, just answering random questions. Let’s pretend you were in just one of those press meetings and you had to answer questions, rapid fire, about your area of interest. How well would you do? Think maybe you might make one or two mistakes of grammar or pronunciation? Do you think people should call you stupid or uneducated because of a slip of the tongue?

“Before I judge a man, let me first walk a mile in his moccasins."
Don’t criticize another person’s work until you’ve tried to do it yourself; don’t judge another person’s life until you’ve been forced to live it
As a challenge to our mindset and a way to stretch our understanding, we can put ourselves in the shoes of George W. Bush

0. A total zero. But the stupid American public voted for him twice. Only goes to show you the extent of corruption in politics. Ever see the guy give a speech? He reads from a script. Ever see Tony Blair read from a script? It's shameful. Ever read all of Abe Lincoln's famous quotes? He wrote those himself. All of Bush's famous quotes have been written for him. He's stupid and his staff members are all brainwashed. I know this is true. I must go now, as I am Mr. Retarded Man. You all should have voted for McCain 8 years ago. You had your chance.

I give about a 5 on a 1-10 scale. I think his biggest problem is trying to please all the people all the time. He won the election by standing by his convictions, but he has tried to appease the left by overspending and having a ridiculous policy on immigration. He fails to realize that he will never win favor from those who don't like him and, by pandering to them, he is losing favor of those who originally supported him.

What "approval?" lol

I don't approve of him at all. He's a warmonger with greedy corporations in his pocket at the expense of our children & the environment.

I'd give him a "disapproval rating" of 100%.
