We are killing our earth. Why don't people realize that it is not as easy as "I'll move somewhere where its not hot, problem solved". Problem not solved when glaciers are melting, the ocean is rising, states like Florida will be underwater. I don't think people think about keeping our Earth thriving as much as they should. For some reason people think we will just get another planet??

Stop driving ridiculous SUV's
Quit wasting water and energy
Recycle

Those are three things everyone can do to make it better. But people don't take Global Warming seriously so I think it will be us the humans (not god or an apocolypse) that will destroy our beautiful earth.

Foolish Global Warming alarmists…

Did you realize that the Indonesian volcanic eruptions emitted more pollutants in one day then all the motor vehicles of the U.S. emit in an entire year? Human beings are only responsible for a mere 4% of the worlds global warming.

The mean world temperature went up by .05 degrees from 1900-1950 and it went up by .03 degrees from 1950-2000… This is after the Industrial Revolution!!

Don’t get me wrong, I am all for recycling and finding alternate fuels, but humans are awfully proud to think that they can affect this planet in a major way.

Also, keep in mind that the same people who are making all the fuss about Global Warming were crying about Global Cooling 20-30 years ago.

Any one who says that Global Warming is NOT an issue needs to pull their heads out of their A$$. We have very little time left to greatly lower our carbon footprint. IF we do not do something within the next 8 years or so, it will be too late to stop the path we are heading down. Usually, Earthlings do NOT react to anything until pressed to the wall. Here is a case that no matter what we do, if we wait too long, there will be nothing to do except hear, "I'm So Sorry I didn't do something...I just didn't believe it." And that will not be good enough. The Bush Administration knows full well the consequences of our pollution, have had full reports by world's leading climatologist stating unequivicably what the results are, and yet chooses to publish lies about the reports, squash all those who dissagree with them, and tell us more lies...there is only so much money, and this adminsitration prefers to pour it down the throats of the insatiable war corporations. This summer is a drop in the bucket compared to what is coming. The movie, "Day After Tomorrow" is NOT science fiction. It is a very real scenario of what is to come. Our ice caps are melting at an alarming rate. The state of Florida is in danger of being beneath the oceans, and in some places, as in Fort Lauderdale, it is already apparent. Only a fool would deny what is happening. We cannot afford to stick our head in the sand and hope it will go away. The only hope, at this time, is to quickly develop, AND USE alternate energy forms...Hydroelectric, Nuclear, wind, and photo sources. Hydrogen cells in cars (waste is water). We must close down all use of oil to avoid the devastation we are headed for. It won't be my generation who pays the price, I am about finished, but my grandson will pay the price for this lunacy. And that is very sad. Those who say this is a normal cycle have NO IDEA of what they are talking about ...but it sure is convenient to say it...it aleviates all responsibility for what is to come. Only after it is here will we hear the "I'm sorry I was so stupids." And they will not do one bit of good. Again, the movie, "Day After Tomorrow" is about as real as it gets. Good luck

Global Warming is a scam the Democrats have made up to win elections.

For every scientist that believes it is a problem, there are 2 scientists who say it is not.

if the globe started out a chunk of ice and it slowly warmed up from that day to this day why did we expect the warming to stop just because we occupy this point on the time line wouldnt we think the globe would continue to warm

I feel that it is something that ocurrs naturally, but the pollutants that humans produce are definitely speeding up the process.

Also, I have been feeling very hot lately. I guess I will continue my migration north.

It's a non-issue because the earth has always gone through cycles of heating and cooling and it's been much hotter than this.
