Horribly against the Mets in the sweep this weekend, but on the road they've been great. The acquisition of Bob Wickman at closer and Danys Baez and Willy Aybar were good trades, though the Dodgers got the better deal in Wilson Betemit. Aybar went 4-6 in the last game. They are 15 back in the East but if they have another surge they can be in wild card contention. Go Braves!

The Braves are as of 7/31
48-56 4th in the NL east and 15 games back of first and 6.5 games out of the wild card
they are also 22-28 @ home and 26-28 @ road

I think they are doing very well, and may even have a chance at the Wild Card....I don't really follow baseball too closely, but i'm slowly becoming a fan of the Braves after being a fan of my hometeam the Texas Rangers. =)

They have a good streak going (before the mets series) but with chipper out and them 6.5 back i don't think they'll make it this year

i don't think they have been playing all that hot.I mean they're playing below 500.They will not win their division this year.Their 16 year reign as division champs ends this year.
