Yes. They were born before "the" Hitler got famous and didn't want to change their family name just because some madman gave it a bad rap.
Personally, I think I might have. When I was first introduced to them, I felt like saying "WHAT did you say your name was?"

No. In fact The former Nazi leader was born Adolph Schickelgruber . He changed it to Hitler. As to when and why he changed it, You would have to read his autobiography, Mein Kampf or try to find it on the internet.

Hitler changed his name to match his relatives, They had it but changed it after WWII and now live in the US (in complete secret).
