Now I have considered that privately to myself, but since you bring it up, yeah, I think that's exactly what they're waiting for.
I lived in the ME for years during the Clinton years. I was there on 9/11. The Palestinians jumping for joy and having a party in the streets was a sight that I will never be able to erase from my memory.
One of my counterparts asked a Palestinian terrorist sympathizer after a particular attack on American interests, "Would you do this if Bush (Sr.) were still in office? The answer? A resounding NO. Why? "Because Bush would have dropped a bomb on us."
Thank God the Apple don't fall too far from the tree.

Al Queda does not plan to see another election in the US. With our Army almost worn out on a fools mission or trap, we may not survive that long. If we don't go nuclear in the next year, it will be a big surprise. We don't have many options remaining. We could be using neighborhood watches to find terrorist and drive 55 to save fuel. Just little things, but when all the people are pulling together, we have an unbelievable amount of power. No, they are really happy with Mr. Bush!

Who knows? The demos (if elected) would likely surrender sovereignty to the UN before Al-Queda had a chance to attack.

Actually, they waited for a non-involved GOP leader to be elected before unleashing 9/11. With Clinton actively bringing Israel and Palestine to the table for negotiations, Al Queda couldn't claim the US didn't care about the Palestine state (one of the primary reasons given, along with troops on Saudi soil, for the attack). Once Bush got into office, they had just the no-nothing, do-nothing leader they needed to make their claim justifiable....

You can be sure that Al Queda has made lots of alternative plans and has an open time schedule. They will attack Democrat Americans and Republican Americans alike when we let down our guard, and when and where they can kill us or hurt us the most. They will also do everything in their power to divide and conquer us. So maybe we Americans should use "Yahoo Answers" to better advantage than dumping on each other.

Of course they are. Just like they are waiting for troop withdrawal time line from Iraq. If the dems are elected that will better for them than actually getting the 72 virgins.

I don't believe so. It has been reported in U.S. news media that Bin Laden backed G. Bush in the last election and hoped he would win. It is based, I believe, on the fact that Bush ignored him and didn't bother him when he took on Iraq and the Iraqi quagmire has kept him busy ever since.
There could be a modicum of truth in that news in that, if you've noticed, the Taliban is in a resurgence in Afghanistan.

Someday we will find out all the things that our very own government has done to America, and a lot of people will be very surprised at the things they blamed on another country was our own FRIENDLY FIRE. It's sort of like when we were kids and there was someone you didn't like and you throw the ball and break a window, and then say he did it.
