The UK with all its faults, is basically lawful. It obeys the EU rules on farming, immigration, monitory control, fishing and many, many other bits of EU legislation. The Judicial system in the UK gives rights of appeal to people who would never see the inside of a courtroom in other EU countries. Social Services in UK bend over backwards towards not only lawful immigrants but also illegal immigrants. Until such time as the Government takes a tougher stance against these abuses by other EU countries, the UK will remain 'the soft touch of Europe'...............

Soft touch? They are the only ones who stood by their currency and rebuked the euro. When the euro collapses the pound will again reign as the premier currency of the world.

They are also the only country with the stones to make up their own mind... everyone else consults with France or the EU council before deciding on a position.

It is not us-the people.
It is our "rulers" who seem to have decided that we as a nation should bend over for everyone else.
