Be very careful when using window tint on double pained low E (gas filled) windows. The windows can get very hot and pop the seal between the glass. If the seal is broken, condensation can enter the space between the glass. Once the seal is broken the entire window will have to be replaced. Consult with a company that installs window tint on homes.

I just bought some at Walmart it was in the Automotive Dept. It is very thick and it is suppose to be removable & reusable, and that is what I wanted. It cost me $12.00. It was just enoungh to cover one window 46 X 36 inches. I am using it to keep the sun out during the summer months. You should be able to find it at any automovtive store as well. I bought some a couple of years ago at Napa Auto and it was thinner and they had options as to colors. I think I paid around $9.00 then. I'am sure you could get the removable & reusable there as well.

I'm not sure which country you come from but try Halifords, the window film that boy racers put on the car windows would be effective but it is also very expensive, about £18 a roll.

A two-way mirror will work with nothing more than window tint. The trouble with these windows is that the lighting environment must be controlled. The oberver's side must be in the dak, while the mirror side must have light. Without the right conditions, even special glass won't work.

Try your local window supplier or diy store, but remember one thing this film only works during daylight hours, once u turn your lights on in the house, everyone can see in, so draw your curtains before u turn your lights on
