She is just an actress who has the talent of a teenager.
I mean, 16-year-olds are already considered adults but some people consider them children.

her mother is over protective and wants her daughter to be able to do what she wants without getting called on it. this way lindsay can't be mad and whiney all the time if she get's her way.
