Did you ever Roller Skate during the late 70's - early 80's & where?

I am in NYC. When I started skating on quads back in the late 70's. The early 80's I went to roller Park a skating rink (Now closed) in Queens NY. Later I found Laces out on Long Island, NY it was Great. Does anyone remember some great songs from the rink(s)?
