im like addicted to stealing... i cant help it...i have tried everything what should i do?

i have stolen everything from clothes to lipcloss... anything i know will not set the alarm off

i think i would stop now... cause you will eventually end up in the pen... then you will wish you had stopped

Why are you stealing? What emotion are you satisfying by stealing? Does it make you feel in control of your life? You have to be aware that you will eventually get caught.
You are right when you say it's an addiction. Addictions can be broken by the individual but some people need help to break free.
If you can't do it alone and you are a minor, talk to your parents. It's hard, but you need their help to get help.
If you are an adult, you need to talk to someone in the mental health field. Again that's a hard thing to do, but necessary.
Almost everyone has some kind of addiction or compulsion. It's when it starts affecting other areas of your life that it's out of control and you need help.

you need to talk to someone about this problem that you have. i use to do that but then i got caught . wheni got caught it made me realize that its not worth it. i was put on probation and had to do lots of other things as well. you cant keep doin this. and plus this is giving you a bad rep. what do you think that you friends think of you. they might not allow you in their houses anymore because they are afraid that you will steal from them. trust me on this one i have been there and done all of that. its not a cool thing to be doing. do you want a theft charge on you record for ever?because if you dont stop now when you reach the age of 18 and you get caught stealing, then thats on your record for life.and most places wont let you work at their place of bussiness.

you need to seek therapy cause I'm addicted to shopping and spending money but yours can put you in jail and it's 10 times the amount of the item you get caught with worked undercover for some stores and most the people caught have the money for the item they must be like you seek help it could cost you a lot of money and court cost for you or your parents so just think about that good luck in getting help

u need to stop now before u go to jail and let me tell u being is not fun what i have never being there , but i heard alot of people talking about it , and when u go to jail who is going to get u out ,? your parents , i think what u need is to go and vistt the jail and talk to some people that have being in there for awhile and ask them what it is like being in there and maybe u will stop stealing . what your parents don't give u no money to buy things u want

picture this ,you get caught, the police come to the store. The store detective informs you that you are no longer to come into the shop or any of that kind in your state for 12months ,if you do and are seen you will be arrested.The police then march you through the shopping centre, and you are asked to get in the back of the divie van ,then taken to the police station where you are strip searched,they take all your details .Then phone your parent to come pick you up.

Next time you try to steal STOP take a breath and tell yourself i will go to jail if i do this.I told that to my bro he tried it a few times now he a goody goody lol Doesnt steal any more.

it is easy to have this addiction but when we steal and learn not to thast when the prices are outragous!!!and thats y we want to stael because of theese high prices, i guess the olny way to learn is to get caught, thats how i did

ask yourself why you are doing this. GET COUNSELING. sooner or later you will end up in jail or prison by death row inmates who rape, murder, and enlsave people. watch A&E channel that show how people with addictions painfully hurt their families. clikc on A&E website so interventionists can help you. good luck
