How to shoot video to look like film with canon gl2?

Can't with GL2. There are modes that can help, but nothing close enough to make someone actually believe it is film. Also the lighting would have to be fantastic, because GL2s get really grainy in low light situations. I don't know much about the whole post-production process, but i would imagine there is some way to do it with editing software.
