No need to buy a firewall...just go to the below link to download the free version of Zone Alarm's firewall, which works very well.

THE BEST program i have used so far is from www.trendmicro.com, it is not just a firewall it is a full featured internet security suite, and it provides a free trial and once the trial is over it only cost £40 or less to buy a years update licence.
the product is called pc-cillin internet security.
it detected some items that spybot, spycleanergold andd a few other security programs failed to find.
give it a try you will not regret it.

I use a free firewall called comodo.. kinda complicated for people who dont understand protocols and port assignments, but it's a good wall. Just do a search for it if interested.

Try Bullguard. they give you a month and are a reasonable price. www.bullguard.com.
Amazon is discounting their software so buy from them not direct.
