It should be in the middle of the back seat facing back. Once the baby is 20 pounds and 1 year old they can face forward.

Infant seats should always be in the back seat rear facing. Also,. infant seats are for babies up to 1 year old and up to 20-22 lbs. After this you can move to a forward facing convertible seats.
Most infant seats are not convertible and can only be used rear facing. Some parents will opt to start wit h a convertible seat that can be used rear facing and forward facing.

Depends on whether you have a front facing oo rear facing car seat. If it is a rear facing car seat then use it properly or it will be useless in an emergency. Front facing seats are put there but they are harder to find. You cannot use a car seat in the front seat if you have an airbag in the front. It is dangerous for the child and will cause more damage in an emergency. If you need help fitting the car seat the local car retailer such as Halfords (UK) will fit the car seat for you. I hope that helped. Good Luck!

An infant car seat should be in the back seat in the middle of the car. What you want to do is get in the back of the car with the seat. feed the belt trough as normal. Now if its self locking this is great other wise you need to use the seat belt locking piece. any way you want to put your entire weight into the seat to make it really snug. Also depending on your car seat if it has a level indicator you need to make sure it is. If not you might want to get one of those swimming noodles. Cut a section not to wide and place it in back of the seat, and then re tighten as before. Also you want to make sure you keep the handle down, that is if it comes with a handle for carrying. If God forbid you have a roll over accident. this could crush onto the baby. Move it to the front of the car for added protection. any questions please feel free to email me.

The car seat should be in the back seat facing backwards. It should also be placed in the middle. The instructions on the car seat should tell you at which weight and height to switch the car seat to facing forwards. They are the safest in the middle even in a truck with only a front seat.

all car seats should be in the back seat unless you don't have a back seat. Infant car seats the ones for babies 1 and under and for under 22lbs need to be rear facing. and once they become a year old AND are over the 22lb mark then there are car seats you can buy that are forward facing

If you have air bags, the car seat *has to* be in the back. Otherwise, it's still safest in the middle of the back seat. And a very young baby has to be in a rear-facing seat.

An infant seat should be in the middle of the back seat and should face the rear.
If you are unsure if your seat is installed properly, many times firestations or hospitals will check it for you. Call around.

An infant seat should be in the back and it needs to face the back, It makes it hard to see the baby, but it is a lot safer for them. Any police dept. will help you put the seat in right.

Idealy a car seat should always be in the back facing back and preferably in the middle,in case of side impact.....also if you have airbags you should never put a child in the front until 5 ft. tall infact it can kill an infant in a car seat. hope I helped.
