Always have facts and evidence to support your view. Are liberals driving the country into hell? Why do you think so? Are you just repeating what you've heard? Even the most well-meaning people can be wrong.
What is best for the USA? War or peace? Leadership or policing the globe? Education or defense? Freedom or laws?
Knowing "why" is the most convincing position.

Tell everyone that the good lord wants us to pay $5 per gallon for gas. Tell your fellow Americans that they should work for less and be happy. Try to convince your fellow Americans that the top 1% really shouldn't pay any taxes at all. Try to hide all of the income you received from the oil stocks you bought before the election of the year 2000. Close the door to your garage where your three SUV's are that get less than 12 mpg. Above all avoid talking to 65% of the population.

You don't because the Republicans are the party currently in power. You are just mixed up, that's all. It's the Republicans that are driving the country that way. If you want to change things in the future, vote Democrat. You should be ashamed of yourself for confusing the two.
