do you mean in the yard or a pot?

just make sure you dig a hole that ensures the soil level in the pot lines up with the soil level in the ground or new pot. water well.

if transferring to a new pot, make sure the type of soil you buy cooresponds to the drainage and nutrient needs of the plant. drainage is key. Also make sure the pot is only a little bigger than the previous one.

my solution sounds so vague, so i found a website for you:

good luck!

i always remove some of the soil from around the roots by tapping it, then i move it to a larger space with all new soil.
