Ask the head of the association. Whoever is in charge will have full copies of all of the rules and regulations. They have to let you read it and make a copy if you like - if they do not, you should speak to a lawyer. If you don't know who the head is, ask your neighbors; someone will know. If nobody seems to know, then attend the next meeting and approach the leader when it is over.

I even have lived in 2 communities that require club of their hoa. the 1st one became in a huge house complicated. the human beings who ran the association have been nazi-like. they might walk around and supply tickets for barking canines (what dogs does not bark whilst somebody is walking next to their homestead?), for leaving a garbage can out previous 5:00 pm on trash day, and a gaggle of different stupid regulations. We hated it. Now I stay in an association that makes optimistic our roads are properly-maintained. the regulations are not very strict. i in my opinion get exhilaration from the association pays for snow plowing with the aid of fact with out it we would be on our very own considering this could be a small mountain community.

You should have received them when you purchased your home. If you do not have them in that file then you can request them from the HOA directly or from the management company if there is one. Also some states require them to be filed on public record when the HOA is created so you would check with the recorders office for your county. Good luck.

Your bill of assurance when you purchase the home. Or ask the president of the association.
