That would mean admitting that Bush has done something right. There is nothing he can do that they would agree with or like. If he gave everyone in the US a million dollars the media would claim it came from money stolen by the Oil Companies he owns, and he was only doing out of a guilty conscience. But as usual they would be the first in line at the bank to cash the checks! I didn't see all of them refusing to cash the Tax rebate checks ( Actually I didn't see anyone do that ) but they all screamed how bad it would be for the economy. As with most liberals whats good for them is way ahead of whats good for the country. Most Liberals who talk about how the economy was better under Clinton are only concerned with the economy and the money it puts in their pockets. I'd rather have a moral leader to use as an example for my children. I'll make a living even if it means working alittle more.

Jobs are popping up all the time, but they are jobs like McDonalds and janitorial work and so on. Nothing you can make a living off of. Unemployment may be low, but that is because we've been in recession so long that everyone is accepting jobs that are beneath their education and experience, if only to start making something (though not what they are worth) so that they don't starve. The economy is still a mess, but the Bush administration is trying desperately to hide that so that they don't look any worse than they already are. But the truth is, they are failing there also.

I dont know what country your from, but unemployment is high at the moment and your right...gas prices are not economic indicators of success...they indicate the greed of Exxon/Mobil.

The mainstream, drive-by media is a subsidiary and mouthpiece of the democrat party. The idea is to get the donks back in power by the usual democrat tactic: lying.

The mainstream media will NEVER admit good news in the economy (or in any other issue) while there is a republican in the white house. They wouldn't want him to get any credit. When a democrat is in office things get good because of him, when it's a republican things get good in spite of him.

Ditto to Liberalhater. They try to hide the successes of this administration for the next election time so they can take over.
