It depends on what she stood for. For example, if she was pro gun control, then no. I would base my vote on the same factors as I do any other candidate. I want to make it clear, though, that I wouldn't vote for her or any other person just because they were a minority. To me, that's like affirmative action, and it's just not right. If you think about it, were all minorities in on way or another.

I'm an average American, I'm not super-rich, ultra-religious, or borderline psychotic, therefore I don't vote at all. But as an American, if there were enough hype and hoopla behind a female or minority candidate, I would think about maybe registering so I had the chance to vote for that candidate if I wasn't too tired come November.

Not unless her running mate would be Superman. But then most everybody knows that Superman is a figment of Segel's imagination and a woman President is the running away with ones imagination.

I have no problem voting for a minority and/or a woman for president as long as that person's ideology best reflects mine. For me, ideology is more important than gender or ethnic background.

I will vote for who ever had the best credentials for the job. If this person shares my beliefs and has a good plan then I will give them just as much consideration as anyone else. I believe it our responsibility as voters to elect the right person.
