3 months would be awesome, but chances are you know when you ovulate. You are really horny about 2 weeks after your period. You may even feel you egg pop. What can work if you are trying to get pregnant (and don't care about the sex), is to have sex at least once a day for the month, especially 10-20 days after your period.

If you want to optimize your chances of conceiving, check out "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It will teach you how to chart your cycles and your fertilty signs so that you know when you are fertile in your current cycle rather than relying on past cycles to estimate that. If your cycles are super regular, looking at past cycles may be great, but if you're at all irregular, learning what to look for as it happens is more informative.

It just takes the average which is a good indication of when you are ovulating.
